The overall rare-earth market stopped falling in late March~early April 2024. Rare-earth prices for magnets in China have bottomed out due to the tightening of domestic supply in China, and international prices also appear to have bottomed out. However, the rebound was not backed by a recovery in demand, so the momentum was slow, and there was noticeable sluggishness, especially in the carbide market.
