The domestic stainless steel scrap market is flat, with the actual market price for 304 scrap at around 210 yen per kg, 400 scrap at around 60 yen per kg, and 316 scrap, which is expected to rise due to soaring molybdenum prices, currently flat and hovering between 370 and 400 yen, depending on volume.
