Speaker Profile
1 Mr. Atsushi Kawakami
Akasaka Junior High School, Keio High School, Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, (Theoretical Economics), Keio University
Mr. Kawakami spent most of his career at The Industrial Bank of Japan, Limited, where he was involved in fund management and investment research.
After retiring from the bank in March 2000, he worked as the Head of Asset Allocation Group at Merrill Lynch Mercury Investment Advisory (3 years), Director and Chief Investment Officer at Invesco Asset Management Limited (7 years), and as a pension consultant. He is currently active in a variety of fields.
His hobby is music. He is also an amateur singer as a Sunday baritone and has performed on many stages.
2 Mr. Satoshi Emori, President & CEO, Emori Fund Management Co.
Mr. Emori joined Sumitomo Corporation in 1990, and through trading in non-ferrous metals, he visited many countries around the world and came into contact with the business practices and cultures of various countries. He later became the first independent "commodity strategist" in Japan, providing market analysis and investment strategies to institutional and individual investors. In 2008, he launched Japan's first "Commodity Global Macro Strategy" hedge fund, which successfully generated high returns during the financial crisis. He is the author of "Buy Gold: The Beginning of the End of the U.S. Stock Bubble Economy" (July 2020,President-sha) and "U.S. Stocks Triple!" (December2017,Business-sha) and "Introduction to the London Metal Exchange (LME)" (July 1999,Business-sha). Currently, he also has a YouTube "Emori-Channel" available.

2015 Joined Rusal Japan Ltd. After working as Technical Manager, assumed current position in 2019.
