An Australian mineral sands giant ILUKA RESOURCES announced its intention on the full-scale sales of rare earths in Japan from 2026. It appears to be a drastic decision that captures the timing of Japan's acceleration of carbon neutrality and climate change mitigations, as work on the 7th Basic Energy Plan begins to move forward.
