The rare earth market from late September to early October 2024 saw little movement. Due to China’s National Day holiday from October 1-7, there was limited activity, particularly for minerals heavily dependent on Chinese demand. While Chinese authorities implemented a series of economic stimulus measures, such as a reduction in the reserve requirement ratio just before the holiday, the international rare earth market has shown only a limited response so far.
