About Synthetic graphite Negative electrode material(Low Grade) Data

It is based on domestic Chinese market prices.

Artificial Graphite
Raw Materials: Petroleum coke, coal-tar pitch
Manufacturing Process: Graphitization of raw materials through firing at ultra-high temperatures of 2,500–3,000°C. Advantages: Stable crystal structure, long service life, excellent rapid-charging performance, and resistance to expansion.
Disadvantages: High cost due to the immense amount of electricity required for the graphitization process.

GradesGrades are primarily classified based on specifications such as energy density (discharge capacity), cycle life, and rapid-charging performance.

Low-Grade (Low-End)
This grade is designed for maximum cost efficiency by simplifying the manufacturing process.

  • Target Discharge Capacity: Approximately 310–330 mAh/g
  • Main Applications: E-bikes, small home appliances, and cost-sensitive stationary energy storage systems (ESS).
  • Technical Features: For artificial graphite, production costs (electricity expenses) are reduced by lowering the firing temperature (compromising the degree of graphitization). Due to slightly greater variation in particle size and simpler surface treatment, it is not suitable for rapid charging and has a relatively shorter cycle life.
