The Asia International Lithium Ion Battery Summit was held in Incheon, Korea from the 15th to the 17th (*CarbonX's plant tour was held on the 17th). We sensed the embryo of several changes. By country, the first was India. Although lead-acid batteries are still the mainstream in this country, new lithium-ion battery (LIB) manufacturers have recently emerged one after another, and at the same time, LIB recycling companies are springing up one after another. We interviewed a number of companies participating in the summit, one of which is involved in lead-acid battery recycling and has started a new LIB recycling business.
