From September 8 to 10, the 65th General Assembly of the International Tantalum and Niobium Association (TIC) was held at the Hilton Hotel in Odaiba, Tokyo. On Day 2 (September 10), the second half featured presentations from the Brazilian startup BostonMetal and ADDMANGroup, a company that uses 3D printing to manufacture tantalum and niobium alloys. Both companies are revolutionizing manufacturing technologies.
