Resonac plans to increase aluminum scrap procurement at Resonac Aluminum Kitakata, located in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture, part of the Resonac Group. The company aims to expand its procurement sources to include local markets and double the amount of scrap procured by 2030. By utilizing scrap, which is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the company aims to meet the green needs of its automotive and other clients, while also working towards the group’s climate change goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
