Recently, India’s The Print reported an important development. On the 19th, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, revealed that India had officially proposed to the United States the signing of a Critical Mineral Partnership Agreement. This agreement aims to benefit Indian companies, particularly those in the electric vehicle sector, by leveraging the U.S. market. The backdrop of this proposal is India’s desire to enhance cooperation with the U.S. on critical mineral supply chains to jointly promote the development of clean energy and the electric vehicle industry.
