The rare earth market remained largely stagnant from late March to early April 2025. Although concerns over tightened supply of rare earth ores from Myanmar lingered, sluggish demand weighed on the market, resulting in limited trading activity. On April 4, China announced new export restrictions on medium and heavy rare earth elements, but this move has yet to be reflected in pricing.
