The rare earth market rose in the second half of June 2025. Tensions over rare earths between the U.S. and China appeared to be easing, bringing a sense of relief to the market. While it was revealed that China, a major rare earth processing hub, saw a decline in raw material imports, signs emerged of resumed procurement by downstream Chinese firms and exports to the U.S. and Europe, fueling expectations of increased demand.
