The offered price is around $280–290 per ton of H2 on an FOB basis. Calculating this with the exchange rate at 143 yen, it equals about 40,000 yen per ton. While some sellers may still accept this price to clear inventory, the reality is that these prices result in losses. Even so, there are businesses that are likely to proceed with these sales to reduce stock.
