From late November to early December 2025, the rare earth market showed only minor movements. While production motivation among suppliers weakened—tightening supply—demand remained lackluster due to uncertainties in trade conditions and the approach of Christmas. With both sides cautious, a wait-and-see mood prevailed. Meanwhile, yttrium oxide, increasingly scarce particularly in the United States, continued its sharp rise and reached its highest level in more than ten years.
