The prices of all kinds of raw materials are rising, but the same is true for stainless steel. Similar to iron scrap, stainless scrap is creating new value when illuminated with the keyword of decarbonization. Nickel-based products are being pushed up by the triple rise in the LME nickel market, and chromium-based (400 series) are now being pushed up by rise of iron scrap prices rather than that of ferrochrome prices.
