November 2023 Analysis of Lead Scrap Export Statistics Significant Increase due to Return of India

In terms of volume, the single month of November saw a significant increase from the previous month, which saw a significant decrease, to 1,677 tons, m/m 139%, y/y 108%, and the total for January through November was 17,913 tons, y/y 175%.
Shipments to India returned from the previous month of sharp decline to the highest level since July, 551 tons, 2204% m/m, 284% y/y, and 3238 tons, 488% y/y for the January-November total. Shipments to Malaysia remained flat at 884 tons, 100% m/m, 169% y/y, for a January-November total of 8631 tons,
