I also had a conversation with Mr. Vinay Sharma, Head of India Operations at GDB International & Planetfirst Recycling Group. This company is a joint venture between the American company GDB and the Indian company PlanetFirstGreen. They manufacture recycled lead and sell it worldwide. In India, Gravita is the most well-known company in this field, but GDBPlanet also possesses cutting-edge lead recycling and environmental facilities, making it quite a strong player.

Currently, they produce around 1,000 tons of recycled lead per month. PlanetFirst manufactures pure lead and lead alloys in the southern state of Gujarat. The lead alloys they produce and sell include lead-tin alloy, lead-calcium alloy, and lead-selenium alloy.
