IRuniverse Co., Ltd. Confirmed to Participate in the 9th APAC Stainless Steel Industry Conference 2024

IRuniverse Co., Ltd. has been confirmed as a media partner for the 9th APAC Nickel, Chrome, Manganese, and Stainless-Steel Industry Conference 2024, organized by SMM (Shanghai Metal Market). Additionally, the company is scheduled to give a presentation on nickel environmental recycling and sustainable development. This conference will bring together top experts from the Asia-Pacific region to discuss the latest trends, innovative technologies, and sustainable future of the stainless-steel industry.
(Comment from SMM)
In 2024, the nickel industry has experienced a continuous decline in nickel prices due to overall supply surplus, a sharp increase in ferronickel supply from Indonesia, mass production of refined nickel in China, and imbalances in supply and demand. The decrease in raw material costs has led to a reduction in the cost of stainless steel, and prices for mainstream products such as 300-series stainless steel have also fallen. On the other hand, the revision of Indonesia’s RKAB and global political turmoil have presented both challenges and opportunities for the nickel, chrome, and manganese stainless steel industries.
For eight years, SMM has successfully hosted this stainless-steel industry conference, dedicated to providing a comprehensive platform where industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders from around the world can discuss the latest trends, technological advancements, and industry challenges. This year, we will delve into important topics related to the development of the stainless-steel industry, including trends in the nickel price index, strategies for sustainable nickel development, new trends in the manganese and chrome markets, and the evolving global stainless steel landscape. We invite you to join us in exploring the future of the stainless-steel industry.
