In the context of the global transition to electrification and renewable energy, nickel’s role as a key material in battery technology has become critical. During the Nickel Institute Battery Day on September 18th, several experts shared their latest research and innovations in nickel-based battery technologies, including NOVONIX’s Mark McArthur, who introduced the full dry-process zero-waste cathode material production technology, and Professor Yang-Kook Sun from Hanyang University in South Korea, who discussed innovative research on high-nickel cathode materials.
