This year, one of the largest music festivals in northern Kyoto is set to echo through the corners of Maizuru Port, attracting a large audience. The mastermind behind it is Minehito Kanemura, the president of Nihonkai Seiren, a major player in the secondary lead refining industry. "Crowds are the key to growth opportunities." The music festival "MAIZURU PLAYBACK FES," launched with the concept of regional and corporate branding, marks its third year. "I want to foster a corporate culture that embraces and adopts new ideas." This forward-thinking mindset has been the driving force behind the company's expansion from its Kyoto base in the competitive Kansai lead refining market to national recognition. We visited President Kanemura at the company's headquarters to hear more about their growth strategy.
