About Zinc ore (TC50%) Data
Zinc ores are natural rocks or minerals that contain a certain concentration of zinc. Zinc ores are often found in association with other ores and are extracted and processed to produce zinc metal or other zinc-containing products. Zinc ores include sphalerite (blende or sphalerite, ZnS), hemimorphite or calamine (Zn4Si2O7(OH)2, H2O), smithsonite (ZnCO3), and zinc red (zincite, ZnO). The most important ore is sphalerite. Naturally occurring sphalerite is a dark red to black opaque ore because it contains iron as an impurity.
TC50 indicates that 50% of the metal extracted from the ore is claimed as a processing fee. Dollars per ton.
