【講演タイトル】成長戦略としての資源循環経済確立に向けた取組について
【講演概要】
近年では、廃棄物問題や気候変動問題に加え、世界的な資源需要と地政学的なリスクの高まりといった資源制約の観点から、サーキュラーエコノミーへの移行が喫緊の課題となっている。本講演では、我が国における資源循環経済政策の最新動向についてお伝えする。
【経歴】
東京大学経済学部卒業後、2003年経済産業省入省。入省以来、製造産業局繊維課やファッション政策室、内閣総理補佐官秘書官、中小企業庁、資源エネルギー庁、富山県、福島復興推進グループなど、幅広い業務に従事。入省後に米国コロンビア大学へ留学しMBAを取得。25年7月からはGXグループ資源循環経済課長に着任し、日本のサーキュラーエコノミー政策の推進に取り組む。

【Title】Initiatives to establish a resource-circulating economy as a growth strategy
【Lecture summary】
In recent years, the transition to a circular economy has become an urgent issue due to resource constraints such as waste management and climate change issues, as well as rising global resource demand and geopolitical risks. In this lecture, I will report on the latest trends in resource circular economy policies in Japan.
【Career】
After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 2003. Since then, he has held a wide range of positions, including roles in the Textile Division and Fashion Policy Office of the Manufacturing Industries Bureau, the Office of the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, the Toyama Prefectural Government, and the Fukushima Reconstruction Promotion Group. He later earned an MBA from Columbia University in the United States.
In July 2025, he assumed the position of Director of the Resource Circulation Economy Division within the GX Group, where he leads initiatives to advance Japan’s circular economy policy.
