Filipe Costa is CEO at revomet Holding GmbH, a battery recycling company of the CRONIMET Group. He holds a Master’s degree and PhD in Chemistry from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch.
At revomet, he drives strategic development and the implementation of advanced technologies for the sustainable recycling of lithium-ion batteries and battery production waste. His work focuses on closing material loops, ensuring regulatory compliance and enabling the transition to a circular economy.
Before founding revomet in 2023, Mr. Costa led CRONIMET Envirotec GmbH and helped position the company as a technology leader in metal recovery from complex waste streams.
With extensive experience in international recycling markets and industrial innovation, he brings a strong vision for scalable, eco-efficient solutions that support both environmental and economic goals.
