The copper scrap market has been down sharply. The LME spot market price, which serves as a benchmark, has entered a downward phase, bouncing between the $8,000/ton level due to inventory pressure and other factors, and the scrap market is now under pressure to adjust. Large copper products suppliers continue to reduce their raw material allocation, leaving room for further price declines in the near term.
