Profile
He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Gunma University in March 2011. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship, he joined ADEKA Corporation in April 2013, where he initially focused on the development of materials for organic solar cells. Since 2016, his research has shifted to secondary battery materials, specializing in sulfur-based active materials, conductive additives, electrolyte additives, and binders.
Currently, as a Manager and Battery Specialist (appointed in 2023), he oversees battery material evaluation and full-cell demonstrations. His contributions to the field have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the 22nd GSC Award (Encouragement Award) and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 36th Leading-edge Technology Awards. In 2024, he co-founded the Research Group for the Creation of Sulfur-based Battery Business as one of its executive members.
2011年3月に博士（工学）の学位を取得（群馬大学大学院）。博士研究員を経て、2013年4月に（株）ＡＤＥＫＡに入社して有機系太陽電池の材料開発に従事。2016年より二次電池の材料開発（硫黄系活物質、導電助剤、電解液添加剤、バインダ）を担当し、2023年より室長・バッテリースペシャリストとして電池材料評価とセル実証を統括。第22回GSC賞の奨励賞、第36回独創性を拓く先端技術大賞の経済産業大臣賞などを受賞。
2024年には幹事の1人として硫黄系電池事業創出研究会を立上げ。
