"Smart Energy Week 2021" Kicks Off in Tokyo

The world's largest-scale expo "Smart Energy Week 2021" (sponsored by Reed Exhibitions Japan) related to renewable energy started on March 3 at the Tokyo Big Sight. Many people gathered from the first day in spite of the corona pandemic. A total of 1,080 companies from Japan and overseas are joining at the exhibition. (Photo shows the venue)
This expo will consist of exhibitions of solar power, hydrogen / fuel cells, rechargeable batteries, smart grids, wind power generation, biomass, and next-generation thermal power generation. At the same time, the Resource Recycling Expo is also held.
As the needs for renewable energy-related businesses and the realization of a low-carbon society accelerate toward the realization of carbon neutrality in 2050, which the Japanese government advocates, the products, technologies, and information of each company that contributes to this will be introduced and presented at the exhibition. Expo will be held until the 5th.
