Taiwan, the second-largest equipment market, had sales of $ 17.15 billion, flat from 2019, when it grew significantly. South Korea remained in third place with a 61% increase to $ 16.08 billion. By equipment category, sales of wafer processing equipment increased 19% and other front-end equipment increased 4%. Sales of assembly and packaging equipment and test equipment grew vigorously in all regions, with the 2020 market up 34% and total test equipment sales up 20%.
