REE#26  The future of Afghanistan's mineral deposits, Tax exemption for the rare earth industry in each country

According to a Reuters report last week, U.S. House Democrats have introduced a bill to provide tax credits to U.S. companies that manufacture rare earth magnets in order to strengthen the U.S. rare earth supply chain. Currently, the only rare earth mine operating in the U.S. is the Mountain Pass mine in CA, and there are no domestic bases for separation and refinement (relying on China).
