An Interview with Dr. Daniel Persico, President of the Tantalum-Niobium Industry Association TIC

Outlook for the Tantalum Market is Extremely Positive - from the 61st TIC General Assembly

TIC is an international non-profit organization comprised of approximately 90 members from various countries, all involved in the supply chain of the tantalum and niobium industries (mining, trading, processing, metal fabrication, capacitor manufacturing, recycling, end-users in medical, aerospace, etc.). It was founded in 1974 under Belgian law and is managed by an Executive Committee representing various related industries.

The main objective of TIC is to spread and promote the remarkable properties of tantalum and niobium. It organizes annual general assemblies every September or October for business and technical presentations for its members and hosts a symposium approximately every five years. Additionally, TIC publishes a biannual 'Bulletin' to address significant issues and challenges in the tantalum and niobium industries.

Information regarding the 2024 General Assembly in Tokyo will continue to be followed up by MIRU.com.
