Export Permit Granted for Lead Battery Scrap!? — What's the Truth behind Rumors?

There are rumors circulating in the lead industry that the government has granted export permit of lead battery scrap. This happened right before the new framework of the Basel Convention, which will include all e-waste as regulated items whether they are hazardous or not, takes effect on January 1, 2025.
