The Tantalum Committee of the Japan New Metals Association (Chairman: Takayasu Ogiko, General Manager of Functional Powders Division, Functional Materials Business Sector, Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., Ltd.) has announced the 2024 demand performance for tantalum. Demand for tantalum recovered in the second half of the year, driven by a rebound in the smartphone market.
