Rumors had continuously circulated within the industry but the major e-scrap recycler, Kimura Metal Industry Co., Ltd. based in Komaki-City, Aichi prefecture with a capital of 35mn yen (President: Mitsuhiko Kimura, Employees: 150) filed for bankruptcy to Nagoya District Court on May 10. The indebtedness amounts to 3.8bn yen.
