Profile: Muchtazar is an experienced sustainability professional with a career spanning several industrial enterprises since 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and a Master’s in Environmental Science from the University of Indonesia. In 2019, he was recognized as an SDG Pioneer by the United Nations Global Compact, becoming only the second Indonesian in history to receive this honor. Currently, Muchtazar serves as Head of Sustainability at Nickel Industries Limited, an Australian public company and a prominent, low-cost global nickel producer focused on sustainability.
