Hannu Heiskanen is the Vice President of Commercial for the MMR Division at Aurubis, one of Europe’s leading providers of non-ferrous metals and a global key player in copper recycling and sustainable materials. In his role, Mr. Heiskanen leads commercial strategy and business development for Aurubis’ Multi Metal Recycling (MMR) operations, supporting the expansion of advanced recycling solutions for critical raw materials essential to the battery and energy transition. With extensive experience in metals markets, circular economy value chains, and industrial partnerships, he plays a central role in strengthening Aurubis’ position in the global supply of recycled metals, including those vital for next-generation battery technologies.
