Profile
He completed the Master’s program (Doctoral Program, First Stage) in the Department of Material Chemistry and Energy Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University, and joined TDK Corporation in 2000. After joining TDK, he completed the Doctoral Program (Second Stage) and earned a Ph.D. in Engineering.
In 2015, he completed the Master of Technology Management (MOT) program at Tokyo University of Science and, in the same year, was seconded to Amperex Technology Limited (ATL) in China. In 2018, he relocated his base of operations to Saku City, Nagano Prefecture.
Since 2020, he has served as CTO of Japan Operations, Energy Device Business Group, and currently serves as CTO of the Japan Battery Division. His area of expertise is electrochemistry.
京都大学大学院工学研究科物質エネルギー化学専攻の博士課程前期を修了し、2000年にTDKに入社。入社後、博士課程後期を修了し、博士（工学）を取得。2015年に東京理科大学技術経営修士課程（MOT）を修了、同年中国ATL社へ出向、2018年に長野県佐久市へ拠点を移す。2020年からはエナジーデバイスビジネスグループ日本オペレーションCTO、現在はジャパンバッテリー統括部CTOとして活動。専門は電気化学。
