世界的にESGやカーボンフットプリント対応が進む中、リチウム電池サプライチェーンでは、重要鉱物の安定調達とリサイクル体制の構築が重要課題となっている。特に中国・韓国を中心とするアジアでは、資源循環とサプライチェーン再編に向けた国際連携が加速している。こうした中、SMM（Shanghai Metals Market）は9月3～4日、韓国・ソウルで「CLNB 2026 Asia Battery Materials Cooperation Forum」を開催した。
MIRU海外取材チームは、フォーラムに先立つ9月2日に韓国の電池リサイクル企業SungEel HiTechの工場を視察。9月3～4日はCLNB 2026に参加した。フォーラム初日には、IRuniverse代表取締役CEOの棚町裕次が登壇。電池材料、重要鉱物、リサイクル、アジアにおけるサプライチェーン再編をテーマに講演し、業界関係者と意見交換を行った。

Amid growing global demand for carbon footprint management and ESG compliance, the lithium battery supply chain is facing major challenges, including the stable procurement of critical minerals and the restructuring of cross-border recycling regulations. In particular, the Asian battery materials industry, led by China and South Korea, is increasingly required to strengthen international cooperation for supply chain restructuring and resource circulation.
SMM (Shanghai Metals Market) will host the “CLNB 2026 Asia Battery Materials Cooperation Forum” in Seoul, South Korea, from September 3 to 4, 2026. The forum is designed not as a conventional one-way conference, but as an international cooperation platform that promotes business matching, networking, and industrial collaboration among participants.
MIRU plans to participate in this event as a media partner. Yuji Tanamachi, CEO of IRuniverse, is also scheduled to speak at the event, giving a presentation and exchanging views with industry professionals on topics such as battery materials, critical minerals, recycling, and supply chain restructuring in Asia.
In addition, September 2, MIRU will run an exclusive special program: a factory tour of SungEel HiTech, one of South Korea's leading battery recycling companies.
