Jain Metal Group, based in Chennai in southern India, recycles lead, copper, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals from used batteries, cables and motors. It listed its flagship company, Jain Resource Recycling, in October 2025 and has grown into one of India's largest recycling companies. It already exports aluminium alloys and refined lead ingots to Japan. We spoke with Mayank Pareek, the group's Joint Managing Director .
