Once there was a theme park called Space World in North Kyushu. Now the Kyushu Metal Industry Co., Ltd opened a theme park for recycling there. The company is a pioneer of recycling various methods. In its vast site (56,000 m2), there are recycling facilities of many kinds such as a state-of-the-art shredder plant, a facility to reuse ASR (automobile shredder residues), a non-ferrous sorting machine, a nugget machine (mill), and a sorting machine for house appliances and plastics.
