Tokyo Steel Participates in Climate Change Initiative - Aiming to Realize a Sustainable Society

Tokyo Steel announced on January 7 that it has joined the Japan Climate Initiative, a network aimed at realizing a decarbonization society, in January 2021.
The Climate Change Initiative was established in July 2018 with the aim of strengthening information dissemination and exchange of opinions among companies, local governments, organizations, and NGOs actively engaged in climate change countermeasures in Japan.
Tokyo Steel has positioned climate change as one of its key management issues and has set out "Tokyo Steel EcoVision 2050", which is a long-term environmental vision.
Taking advantage of the characteristics of electric furnace steel materials that are friendly to the global environment, the company will continue its efforts to further enhance corporate value and realize a sustainable society.
