Analysis of lead scrap export statistics for October 2023 Significant decrease due to sharp decline in exports to India

In terms of volume, the single month of October saw a significant decrease to 1,210 tons, 79% of the previous month. Year-on-year, the total for the period from January to October was 16,236 tons, 187% of the same period last year.
Shipments to India sharply declined, with a double-digit of 25 tons since February, 8% month-over-month and 18% year-on-year, for a total of 2,687 tons for the January-October period, 573% year-on-year.
