The overall rare-earth market is slowly weakening in late January ~ early February 2023. Amid a growing awareness of the poor performance of the Chinese economy, including the manufacturing sector, due to low stock prices and falling prices, China's rare earths index has fallen, weighing on international markets. Trading was slow just before the Chinese New Year holidays. The mood was subdued, with many ore types falling to multi-year lows.
