2024 Rare Metal Scrap Market Update: Price Recovery and Potential Downturn

The rare metal (RM) scrap market showed mostly downward trends last month. However, due to the recovery in LME nickel and copper prices over the past month, many items have shown upward movements. However, since entering September, the prices of nickel and copper have started to decline again, raising the possibility of more fluctuations in prices in the near future. Compared to August, when factory operations slowed due to summer vacations, September has fewer seasonal factors, and the market is expected to continue moving in line with raw material prices over the next month.
