【講演の概要】
名古屋市で徹底的なごみ減量と資源化を進めるきっかけとなった「ごみ非常事態宣言」の話や、「循環型都市なごや」の実現のために現在実施している事業を紹介します。
【登壇者プロフィール】
２００１年に名古屋市役所に入庁。3年間南区役所で窓口業務に従事した後、環境局に配属される。その後、資源循環企画課の前身となる減量推進室に担当および係長として10年間従事するなど、廃棄物関係の部署を中心に、地域環境対策や環境保全、総務部署で環境行政に幅広く従事する。2025年4月より現職となり、事業者と連携したリユース事業やプラスチック資源循環、アップサイクルの普及啓発など、資源循環の取組みを推進している。

Presentation Title:
"Circular Economy Initiatives for Citizens"
Abstract:
We will introduce the story behind Nagoya City's "Waste Crisis Declaration," which served as the catalyst for thoroughly promoting waste reduction and resource recycling.
We will also highlight the current projects being implemented to realize "Nagoya, a Circular City."
Profile:
He joined the Nagoya City Office in 2001.
After spending three years handling counter services at the Minami Ward Office, [he/she] was assigned to the Environmental Affairs Bureau.
Subsequently, he worked for ten years as a staff member and then as a section chief in the Waste Reduction Promotion Office (the predecessor of the current Resource Circulation Planning Division).
Throughout his career, [he/she] has been broadly involved in environmental administration, primarily in waste management divisions, regional environmental measures, environmental conservation, and general affairs divisions.
He took up the current position in April 2025 and is currently promoting resource circulation initiatives, including reuse projects in collaboration with businesses, plastic resource recycling, and raising awareness of upcycling.
