Wholesale dealers regarded as “old firms” in the ferrous scrap industry have gone bankrupt or closed the business one after another.
In Aichi prefecture, a traditional ferrous scrap dealer, Kanetake Shoten Co., Ltd. filed for personal bankruptcy in August. And the traditional Tokushima Kogyo located in Nagoya city has lost its face in the same month. Though the company has a successor among the relatives, it seemed to close the business.
