Green Li-ion: Pioneering Sustainable Battery Materials from Waste - A Revolution in Recycling

https://youtu.be/SFBCdoF_pFw?si=aCVdd4f1vc-9p6S5

Ventured backed Green Li-ion offers revolutionary recycling technology, challenging the existing battery materials supply chain status quo. Their innovative modular design allows OEMs, battery manufacturers, and even countries to build secure, local, circular material loops. Green Li-ion’s modular hardware solutions convert black mass into rejuvenated battery material for new battery manufacturing.

Founded in 2020 by CEO Leon Farrant and CTO Dr. Reza Katal, the company quickly attracted investment from Tier 1 VC firms, including TTV (Petronas), Equinor, EDP, and TES (SK ecoplant) among others.

Having driven lithium-ion battery adoption, Japan now spearheads the charge in battery recycling technology. This will create a self-sustaining domestic supply chain, minimizing waste and promoting a circular economy.

Green Li-ion's GREENHYDROREJUVENATION™ technology streamlines the recycling process with fast processing speed, exceptionally pure materials, and unmatched metal recovery rates. Their flexible, modular hardware solutions, like GLMC, GL Train, and GL LFP, seamlessly integrate with existing industrial setups, making sustainable domestic battery production a reality.

The GLMC directly converts "black mass/powder," a waste product from battery recycling and Gigafactories, into valuable lithium carbonate and cathode precursor (pCAM) for high- Nickel (NMC/A) cathode active materials (CAM).

The GL Train Green Li-ion's next-generation battery recycling solution. This powerhouse quadruples processing capacity, meeting industry demands head-on.

The GL LFP Designed for LFP batteries, extracting lithium carbonate and battery-grade iron phosphate, transforming them from black mass/powder into valuable resources.

The first U.S. supply facility, located in Atoka, Oklahoma, is set to be completed in 2024 and will be the first in the US to produce industrial and commercially viable battery-grade cathode and anode material domestically. Interested parties from companies dedicated to integrating battery recycling into their businesses are invited to observe its operations.

Discover more about Green Li-ion's innovative technology at the conference and meet Eric Kim, Business Development Manager-Asia.
