Aluminum Alloys & Scrap Market Update 2023 #20 Alloy Holding Scrap Prices Noticeably Higher

In the aluminum alloy and domestic aluminum scrap markets, domestic ADC12, the main alloy, is holding strong, while scrap continues to move higher in general. 2s new cut is 10 yen higher than in early October. The market has been experiencing upward pressure due to the anticipation of future procurement difficulties against the backdrop of the thin occurrence of scrap. There is no material that could produce a change in the supply-demand trend, and it is likely that scrap will continue to lead the way to higher prices in the near term.
