The overall rare-earth market is declining in mid-December 2023~early January 2024. Rare-earth prices in China have not stopped falling, and sentiment is deteriorating in overseas markets as well. In addition to concerns about an economic slowdown in China, there are growing concerns about demand for batteries for electric vehicles (EVs) and other factors, and there are a number of ore types that have been on a downward trend since the beginning of the year.
