The overall rare-earth market in mid-May~late May 2024 is at a slight standstill. The market has been on an upward trend until early May, and there are signs of a lull in the trend. Weakness in some of China's major economic indicators released on May 17 has also contributed to a renewed sense of caution about expectations for an economic recovery in China, which has been a factor in pushing up rare earth prices.
