【略歴】
1983年 早稲田大学理工学部応用物理学科卒
1990年 Harvard Business School (Alumni)
同年 Harvard Center for Information Resource Policy (Fellow)

1983年 日本電気入社。欧米でのPC開発、国内PC98をAT互換機に切替、その上で各種ソリューション開発 (VODやテレビ会議システム)。
2001年 ソフトバンク入社。インターネット拡大のため、ネットワークゲームの事業展開。
2004年 日産自動車入社。クルマのCASE化。
2012年 インテル入社。自動運転、SDVの技術及び事業開拓。(2024年退職)
2014年以降 名古屋大学。客員准教授/教授を兼務。(継続)

2011年 GSMA Mobile World Congress 2011においてNISSAN LEAFのコネクテッド化で"Best Mobile Innovation for Automotive and Transport"を受賞。2024年12月中国でSoftware Defined Vehicleに関する書籍出版 (共著)。

Joined NEC in 1983; Developed PCs in Europe and the U.S., switched Japanese main PCs from PC98 to AT-compatible, and developed various solutions (VOD and TV conferencing systems).
Joined Softbank in 2001; Developed network game business for its Internet expansion.
Joined Nissan Motor Co. in 2004; Developed CASE for cars.
Joined Intel in 2012; Developed technology and business of automated driving and SDV. (Retired in 2024)
2014 onwards: Joined Nagoya University as Visiting Associate Professor/ Professor. (Ongoing)

2011 Awarded "Best Mobile Innovation for Automotive and Transport" for connected solutions for NISSAN LEAF at GSMA Mobile World Congress. 2024 Published a book on "Software Defined Vehicles" in China in December 2024 (co-author).
